Here's a smattering of travel related stories you might be interested in - just to keep you in the travel frame of mind.

  • Pending FAA approval, the Boeing 737 Max is scheduled to return to service by early 2021
  • US Air traffic is slowly returning. In mid Oct 2020, TSA screened about 1,000,000 passengers, the most since Spring 2020.
  • The US - Canada border will stay closed for the foreseeable future
  • Hawaii is instituting additional safeguards ahead of its Oct 15 opening.  The plan allows out of state travelers to bypass Hawaii's 14 day quarantine by testing negative within 732 hours of departure.
  • Barcelona's popular La Rambla is undergoing a project to turn the very busy thoroughfare into an "immersive art center". To promote tourism (post pandemic) the city is refurbishing the Tetre Principal which opened in 1603 but has been closed since 2006. This theatre will be completely renovated and modernized. In addition, the street will feature more pedestrian only spaces.
