Sydney - Our last stop!

Sydney

Can you believe that this is our last city before we head home? Our complete tour was 35 days. Sydney did not disappoint. We started our day with a fantastic tour of the Sydney Opera House followed by a harbour cruise with lunch and a tour of the Rocks, cobblestone streets which are Australia’s oldest precinct and is located near the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

We stopped at Bondi Beach to pay our respects to those that lost their lives during the Hanukkah massacre. Not how we originally planned to visit but I'm glad we were able to stop.

Free Day

Before we headed to the Blue Mountains for our final tour we had a full day to do as we pleased. My choice was the Taronga Zoo. I am a huge fan of Zoos and the Taronga Zoo did not disappoint. We concentrated on the local species and had a fantastic day!

Our Last Tour Day

Our first stop was Featherdale park where we saw all the iconic Australian animals. We even got to feed Wallabies and Kangaroos. There were also lots of beautiful birds and my favorite the Little Blue Penguins!

Our next stop was Scenic World Blue Mountains. The mountains have a blue haze that's caused by the Eucalyptus oil from the Gum trees. Scenic has the steepest railroad in the world, a Gondola and a Skyway. The views were spectacular!

Cocktail Celebration - I hosted a farewell cocktail party at our hotel in the Zephyr lounge. We had a fantastic view of the setting sun. My amazing guests gave me a beautiful card and boomerang that they all signed. It's one souvenir I will truly cherish.

My Good Fortune

After 35 days exploring Australia & New Zealand, my guests have become the kind of friends you only make through a shared journey. I am so fortunate to have had this special time with them all!

What's Next?

It's sad to say goodbye to everyone but many are going to join us next year for our Easter Island Tour and South America Cruise!
