Egypt awaits

In a few weeks, in mid March we leave for our first trip to the Middle East. We're off to Jordan and then Egypt including Cairo and the lower Nile River.  We can't wait.  We'll be sure to share that experience here on this blog.

Egypt

We are going with AmaWaterways.  They offer extensions in Dubai, Jordan and Israel.  We'll arrive in Amman Jordan and stay several nights and then travel to Petra for 2 more days.  Then off to Cairo for three nights, fly to Luxor to board the ship and sail for 7 nights down the Nile. Finally we'll spend a night in Cairo before we fly back to the States.

We're taking great comfort in traveling with AmaWaterways.  They take care of all the COVID protocols and Visas once you land. They know the area and use only top tier hotels. We trust that they will ensure our safety, both in terms of geo-political events and health.  It's exactly in unsettling times like this that we're very happy to have someone hold our hand as we see iconic sites.

Stay tuned in this space for our postings.
