You can drink a beer nearly anywhere in the world. But there’s something special about drinking a beer where it’s made. The first time I had a Leffe dark, I was in Belgium. There’s nothing like a fresh draft Leffe dark to get you in the mood to see the sights.
We live close to several craft brewers in the US but one in particular is Weyerbacher. This brewer’s most popular beer is their Merry Monks Belgium-Style Tripel. It’s an excellent beer and goes great with so many occasions. The inspiration for the beer was obvious – Belgium style beers. So why not go to Belgium to compare tastes?
