One of the things that sets AmaWaterways apart from other river cruise lines is their food. Not only are the regular diners wonderful but they offer each guest the opportunity to enjoy a complimentary dinner in their Chef's Table restaurant. You can watch the chef prepare your meal as you enjoy the complimentary wine and beer. They offer the same menu each evening so you only need to dine there once. The food was excellent with beautiful presentations. It is one of my favorite evenings onboard. All ships on AmaWaterways now offer the Chef''s Table Restaurant. The classic style ships such as the AmaLyra were refitted with the restaurant in the aft of the ship starting with the 2014 season. Previously there was a lounge in the space and I have to say the restaurant is gorgeous. With full windows out the back the view is lovely. Don't miss out on the great experience. Check with the Maitre'D when you board to be sure you get to enjoy this special evening!
